Welcome to the 'Second Wind', located in the quaint beach town of Port Aransas, Texas. 'Second Wind' is a nautical themed, four bedroom/four and a half bath home that sleeps 12 with extra space for others. The location is in the popular gated community of Village Walk is just blocks from the beach and is conveniently located to all the restaurants, shopping and fun spots in town.
As you enter the 'Second Wind' through double french doors from ground level, you'll immediately feel you've selected your perfect vacation home. With an open living room, dining room and kitchen there is plenty of room for everyone. This great room offers a dining room table big enough for 12 with extra seating at the island. There's a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a reading nook for the book worm in your family. This great room, with it's beachy knotty pine walls and knotty pine vaulted ceiling, also offers a half bath, a flat screen television and two dishwashers in the kitchen.
Off the living room is an exterior door that leads you to an outdoor living area with a fire pit for those cozy by-the-fire nights. Beyond the outdoor living and through the white picket fence gate is a palm tree-lined walking path that will take you to one of two community pools. The ground level of 'Second Wind' also provides the first of four bedrooms - sail away in this master king bedroom suite with a roomy private bath with walk in shower and flat screen television. You'll never want to go home!
The staircase leading upstairs is just off the kitchen and offers three more bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms include a bunk room that can accommodate four guests and has a huge walk in closet, a private full bath with tub/shower combination and flat screen television. This bunk room is a favorite for the kids and teens with it's 'surfs up' theme and bean bags on the floor - everybody's happy! At the end of the hall is a second master king bedroom suite with a private bath and walk in shower. This room has a flat screen television and is tastefully decorated with the boat lover or fisherman in mind. At the opposite end of the hall is a third master suite with two queen beds, a flat screen television and private bath with walk in shower. This room will have everyone drawing straws with it's classic car and truck theme - the only words to describe it are fun, fun, fun!

There is parking for 3 vehicles. No Boats or Trailers are allowed on Village Walk property.
Extra Amenities: Close to Beach, Wifi, Cable, 2 Shared Heated Pools, Outdoor Fire Pit, Grill, One Car Garage, Plywood Chairs, Blow Dryer, Gourmet Kitchen, Memory Foam Mattresses with cooling gel, 2 Dishwashers, Warming Drawer, Linens and Towels Provided. No smoking. This is a pet friendly home with an additional fee charged per pet.
Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below:
1) Second Wind provides 3 paved parking spaces for 3 medium sized vehicles.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by Port A Beach House Company. All tags must be returned to Port A Beach House Company upon checkout. $25.00 replacement fee for each lost tag
3) All vehicles must be parked in the driveway of Second Wind. No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced
Second Wind provides ample parking for 12 guests, properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience.
