4 Bedrooms BnB Lagile Lodge

The four bedroom vacation rental Thatch Cottage, a preserved building, is located at the rear of the property. It was originally built as a gate-lodge in the late 18th century. It is now rented out to visitors from all over the glo. Lagile Lodge is a family run home on 10 acres of gardens and paddocks set back 200m off the N25. It is a 3-4 mins walk from the village of Killeagh and an 8 min. drive from the historical town of Youghal. Glenbower Wood,  on the doorstep, with its lovely woodland walks and abundance of wildlife, offers a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Michael and I, welcome guests into our home from May through to October. There are four en-suite bedrooms, each with tea/coffee facilities and hairdryers. Our guests are invited to relax, read, talk with fellow guests or watch television in the large lounge/dining room and conservatory. Breakfast menu caters for all tastes, including vegetarians. Enjoy home-baking, free-range eggs, home-made preserves and freshly squeezed juice. Our large gardens and patio allow our guests to ramble about and enjoy the animals - we have breeding suffolk sheep, 2 donkeys-Galtee & George, Harry- the springer spaniel and Tom Kitten!
